
Point Geometry
Hyper Tool has developed 6 different point grinds which we have
found successful for drilling various materials. It is important
that the forces on the inner and outer cutting edges be balanced in
order to minimize hole runout, which means the relationship between
the inner and outer angles and the point location be coordinated. A
more detailed listing of recommended end clearances will be added
later.
